Prayers for Carrington.........

The Burman family just adopted 2 beautiful little girls, Reagen, and Carrington! Reagen was in an instiuton and Carrington was in an orphanage!!! The girls are both wonderful, beautiful, sweet little girls......but Carrington needs our prayers!!!! Carrington is 3 years old and she has Down Syndrome!

It was only when they carried her out and lovingly undressed Carrington for the first time did the Burman's realize that she was seriously hanging on to life by a thread.

Eleven pounds.  At three years of age.

As soon as the Burman's landed in the United States on Thursday night, Carrington was rushed to the hospital and is right now being worked on around the clock as she is in a fight for her little life.  No one who has seen her understands how she survived this long apart from God's Grace.  Her body was in shut down mode when the Burman's brought her out.

Carrington is not the first little one to leave this particular orphanage in this state.  She will not be the last.

Children with special needs in Eastern Europe are NOT valued.  Especially children with Down Syndrome.  They are set aside.  They are allowed to waste away.  They are denied homes and families.

That is the truth.

Please pray for Carrington.  Pray that God will breath life into her bones.  Pray that she will be able to take in the nutrients she needs to allow her body to heal.  Pray. Please pray for Carrington's parents as they walk this scary journey with her! Please pray for Carrington's siblings that they will have faith that their little sister will live! PLEASE JUST PRAY!!!
